Personal Statement God s Child - 1602 Words

Born to a mother and father who had just lost four children in a fire, and almost a fifth child was a world of devastation to enter. Four of my older siblings lost their lives in a fire when my mother was three months pregnant with me. The oldest sibling was trying to save them and survived when a firefighter stumbled over him going into the building. My parents, in particularly my mother, had to change attitudes over this loss, because another child was on the way. In the midst of all of this tragedy I was born for a purpose. One was to give my parents a new starting base and to refill their lives with hope again. The other was knowing now that I was brought into to this world for a purpose that was in God. Now to find out what that purpose really is has been the silent clincher. What is my purpose, as to what I am supposed to be fulfilling in this world, as God’s child? The Journey Begins â€Å"My mission is to assist and encourage people to live better lives by building their hopes and expectations.† The idea is to build or strengthen their hopes to turn their dreams, desires and cares into their reality. By driving their fears, past hurts and rejections out and building a bridge to their goals and purpose; their real future and possibly a future in Christ. My mission is to bring hope to life, where there once was life that was derailed.
